When I approach the horse farm, the wildly insane horses will rush over the fence and encircle me fiercely, trampling me until I become a lump of meat that cannot even be put on a barbecue grill.

This has been rewritten to "Once I get close, the irate horses will cross the fence and join together to grind me to pieces." Not to mention the abrupt "irate" (which means getting angry for no reason) having nothing to do with horses being mad at humans, "grind to pieces" completely loses the vivid imagery of the original text. Imagine that horses could trample a person to powder. I read the original Japanese text and it is described as shown in Figure 1.

It can be said that the translator did not consider the sentence structure of the original text at all, and instead found a similar metaphor to be lazy. If this is the way to translate, why not write a new novel?

The following sentence "Patrol explores the red line of fate like an infrared detector" has become "Tirelessly cut the complex fate red line like an infrared detector". The object of the metaphor is completely different, and the entire sentence has been rephrased, but which one is more vivid? The original sentence means "I" frantically searched for the red line of fate, not that the red line of fate was too complex and "I" was tired of cutting it.

Translator, are you translating a novel, reading what the author wrote, or are you looking at words and writing a new novella yourself?

It is all about stacking words, interrupting the narrators emotions, and the language is not smooth. Novels are essentially a person telling a story to the reader. The most important thing is the fluency of language and the transmission of emotions, not concise sentences where everything can be condensed into one word. Why not write a report?

Moris characteristic is his language, his exaggeration, and his metaphor. The plot of this novel is not so sophisticated. More of it is a college student who is talking endlessly there. The attraction of the story comes in part from the language, the exaggerated and vivid narrative style that captures the reader (whatever it is, I was attracted by the language when I read it). The translators omission and laziness can be said to have basically eliminated Moris advantages. When the book arrived, my heart could only collapse.

The text that I received seemed to hide the silhouette of a translator typing and I could imagine him yawning and wanting to finish this job as soon as possible. I cant see an understanding of the original author, nor can I see respect for the original author. Only the thought that "its good to make money in the second dimension" lingers.
