觉醒时刻实现诺言，盛世如愿

In 2021, the TV drama "Awaken" aired on CCTV, immediately attracting viewers of all ages and receiving their love. Every viewer who watched it praised it endlessly.

Now, in 2023, the China Pictorial Publishing House has published a book called "Awakening Moments," which once again brings me back to that extraordinary and turbulent era. "Awakening Moments" consists of 48 representative works by 16 masters, including Lu Xun, Chen Duxiu, Li Dazhao, Hu Shi, and Cai Yuanpei. These prophets and visionaries of their time were the few who were awakened first and led the revolution. They traveled and shouted to wake up the sleeping people, pulling them out of their numbness and indifference and saving their beloved country from deep wounds. They were like sparks that ignited a fire.

In Liang Qichaos "Youth China," written in 1900, a time when the Chinese nation was being brutally exploited, he passionately called on Chinas youth to create a vibrant young China: "Todays responsibility is not for others but for us youth!" Today, "Youth China" has become a classic program for recitation in schools and offices, stirring peoples blood and passion.

In Lu Xuns "Medicine," the ignorant and apathetic Hu Laoer and his wife, along with the onlookers, are indifferent to the sacrifice of the revolutionaries, which is heartbreaking. However, countless revolutionaries like Xia Yun still did not lose hope or give up. Instead, they chose to awaken the most marginalized people in society through one sacrifice after another.

After returning from Japan, Chen Duxiu founded "The New Youth" to promote democracy and science, leading the New Culture Movement. People naturally remember Chen Duxius historical achievements, but they also remember his two sons, Chen Yannian and Chen Qiaonian. The two brothers were successively arrested, but they faced their deaths with courage and hope for their countrys future, despite being only 29 and 26 years old at the time. Reading the words of these predecessors in "Awakening Moments," we can hear their shouts and see them fighting for the future of their motherland in the hot waters of the era. These brave men were supported by their deep love for their country and an incomparably noble faith.
