Lonely Planet孤独星球：又一个故乡

When I try to look back on my travel to Spain, I have to admit that it influenced my emotions a lot, even more than I expected. Although I cannot fully describe how Spain changed my ideas and thoughts, it is certain that I really enjoyed my time there – especially in the capital, Madrid. I loved the food, weather, and the peoples characteristics. Meeting Goya and Velazquez was also a very important highlight of my trip.

To me, Madrid felt like coming back to my homeland. People like to talk, laugh, and sometimes shout during the day. Compared to the British people, language, and weather, Spain felt much more lively and vibrant. Going back to Spain was like going back to my roots.
