Aristotle believed in the concept of Economics, which is the management of the household. He stated that "Man is a political animal. The individuals are not self-sufficient." This means that in order to survive, an individual needs a state. He also mentioned that "The necessary people are either slaves who minister to the wants of individuals or mechanics and labourers who are the servants of the community." Masters make decisions for the future. Rich people dont really get paid by their job, so they have more time to do politics. Slaves are instruments of actions and they do not take decisions.
There are two types of rule according to Aristotle. They are Despotic rule and Constitution rule. In Despotic rule, the soul has power over the body. The body only does what the soul ask it to do. In Constitution rule, the reason has power over the appetites. We do things because of our needs (e.g. we eat food to get rid of death).
Aristotle also discussed the societal hierarchy where men have power over women and wild animals, in a Despotic rule. However, men have power over slaves in both Despotic and Constitution rule.
