"Saving Justice: DOJ Strives for Apolitical Integrity"

By happenstance, I listened to a podcast with James Comey, the former FBI director, as the guest. His journey in the DOJ and private sector interests me greatly. So, I bought this book to know more about him. Due to this book, I have a more profound understanding of the role DOJ plays in American politics.

But for people to respect and have confidence in the Justice Department, DOJ needs to be apolitical with respect to the cases they investigate and people they indict. The purpose of all of these investigations and indictments is to find the truth, only the truth, and nothing but the truth.

I hold people in high regard who have the backbone to stand up for the values they believe in, even when they have a lot at stake. James Comey is no doubt one of those people.
