On the first day of cohabiting with his ex-boyfriend, Tan Xu (the seme who only acts good in front of others but lazy when with Yu Yanchuan) thought everything was going smoothly. His roommate was tidy, quiet and respectful, but unfortunately, it had to be his ex.

However, he did not expect that the next-door neighbor would use a soy milk machine every day at 12:30 in the morning, making unbearable noise. He closed his textbooks and looked at Yu Yanchuans outburst in the homeowners group chat, only to be suspected by the soy milk machine owner.

Suddenly, he remembered something important. The soy milk machine couldnt be that noisy. Only poor sound insulation could explain this. Irritated, Tan Xu closed his eyes, thinking about how to shut Yu Yanchuan up in bed next time.

This is just the beginning of the story, and it seems like a typical urban romance with some wealthy family and messy relationships. The latter part of the plot may be a bit melodramatic, but the emotional development is not.

The story follows a university student and a flower shop owner who pretend to be roommates, but secretly have feelings for each other. The interactions between them are sweet and charming.

The writing style is good, but the emotional line can be convoluted at times, like a tangled earphone wire. There is also some suspension of plot, portraying the entanglement of family ethics.

Overall, the characters are very likable, and the story is engaging too. However, the relationship between the characters and the storys title seems to be unrelated.
