In this passage, apart from the part about LeBron James, there is no mention of faith. However, every description of behavior centers around faith. The three main characters are all acting based on the question of where they come from and where they will go. Wu Moxi eventually goes to Xianyang, Cao Qinge gets married and moves to Shanxi, while Niu Aiguo is still on the road. Where they go, why they go, and how they handle things after they arrive are all reflections of how they process the question of where they come from and where they will go.
When the words "aimlessness" and "hope" appear together in the book, I suddenly become confused about what faith really means. Do I have faith? If so, what is it? If not, how can I find it?
As for whether or not faith is necessary, I already have my own answer. However, how to maintain and utilize faith still leaves me deep in thought.
I have been searching for this thing for many years. I had it when I was younger, but I seem to have lost it as I grew older. Perhaps the reason for this is that there is too much information, leading me to believe that there must be multiple paths to achieve any given outcome. However, without faith, I struggle to handle things when faced with obstacles.
In the past, I called this "bottom-up logic," where all outcomes are based on a bottom-up thought process, finding the right path that matches the result. However, more and more information has been interfering with my logic lately, causing me to question whether my bottom-up logic is still the right approach for me.
The appearance of having no faith may show that all paths seem open, but in reality, it makes me feel like no path is right.
